As part of FreedomSchool’s governance structure, we currently have 4 parent council members and 4 youth council members. Our parent council is responsible for: our organization’s mandate, mission statement and policies, reviewing all organization budgets, hearing feedback from all completed projects and suggesting new initiatives. Our youth council is responsible for: suggesting new initiatives, leading educational activism projects and co-writing curriculum.
